May the Christmas season
fill your home with joy,
your heart with love
and your life with laughter.
Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Hi! First of all – guys, do you know that Christmas is just 4 days away? I can’t believe it even if I made cookies and my first gingerbread house ever this weekend! It was such a fun and “christmassy” process and I’m going to share it with you.
You may think why I made my first gingerbread house just right now. The answer is I have no idea. Maybe because I just didn’t think about it earlier? Anyway, I’m really happy that I made it this year, this Christmas.
This post is all about just making my first gingerbread house, not about how I made it. If you’re searching for a recipe – just google it. I have a lot of recipe books at home, so that’s where I found a recipe. I also looked for some instructions on the internet and youtube. I really hope you’ll find it – sorry if I didn’t help this time.
Here you can see four walls ready to cook! 🙂
I didn’t forget about the roof and door (I didn’t use the door) either! Also there is a little gingerbread man, but just one. Later I made another one too, but I didn’t take a picture of it.
Don’t search for “building a house” pictures, because that was not really easy for me! The roof kept on falling. I’m super happy that it turned out great after all.
This is my first gingerbread house below! I’m really happy about it. I’m sure making a gingerbread house every Christmas is going to be our family tradition.
Now it’s time to say what I’ve learned:
This is it! If you are still not sure about this gingerbread house – don’t be! Believe me, it was super fun. Gingerbread house is not just a decoration on a Christmas table, but also a delicious and beautiful treat! See you,
Hi! Do you know that Christmas is just around the corner? I always think about Christmas. I like everything about it: wrapping gifts, drinking tea, making cookies, watching Christmas movies and even answering to some questions! I found these online and just answered them, because why not? 🙂 Let’s just get started!
1. What are your favorite Christmas colors?
I actually not really like red, but when it’s Christmas this color becomes one of my favorites. I also like golden and white.
2. Do you still act like Santa Claus brings you presents?
Sometimes yes, because it’s fun!
3. When do you begin Christmas shopping?
In the middle of December, but this year I began on December 7th.
4. Who do you celebrate Christmas with?
I celebrate Christmas with my family and relatives.
5. Do you have a favorite Christmas song?
Yes, I think it’s Wham! – Last Christmas.
6. When do you usually open your gifts?
On Christmas Eve evening.
7. Who do you buy Christmas presents for?
For my family and friends.
8. What does Christmas mean to you?
Christmas is my favorite holiday ever. It’s such an amazing celebration with a meaning. For me Christmas is when you give presents to the ones that you love, light candles, decorate a Christmas tree, make cookies and the list can go on and on. 🙂 Remember, that Christmas is all about giving, not receiving.
9. Do you prefer real or articifial trees? Why?
I prefer real ones. I think that it just brings the real Christmas feeling to your house.
10. Describe what you’re likely to wear on cold days?
I like to wear jeans, timberlands or just boots, scarf and a warm sweater.
11. Describe how you decorate your house before Christmas.
I always put up a Christmas tree. Then I just put garlands, lights and candles, that smell like Christmas everywhere – simple and beautiful!
12. Favorite Christmas movie.
I think “Home Alone 2” – old, but good!
13. What smell makes you think about Christmas?
Cinnamon smell. Also cinnamon and apple smell.
14. An old Christmas tradition?
To make and decorate cookies before Christmas. I can’t wait to cook them this year!! I also want to start a new tradition – to make a gingerbread house!
15. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received when you were a child?
I can’t choose one – a “microphone”, a “guitar” or a “piano”. 🙂
This is it for today. I can’t believe how fast time flies. too fast. So don’t forget to stop for a minute and think about all the beautiful things around you. I’m actually so happy while writing this post, because I feel really “Christmassy”! See you soon,
Hello! It’s just 13 days till Christmas! I’m so excited, what about you? This post is all about 12 Christmas nail art designs. They’re super easy and super cute. I actually don’t know which one to paint this year. I’m not professional at painting nails, no way, but we all know that even a simple nail art design can work, right? 🙂 So don’t be afraid to try these out and don’t give up!
2. It’s so cute, isn’t it?
3. Christmas lights make everything better.
5. Just red and white!
6. Santa Claus and some white dots, a.k.a white snowflakes.
7. A whole tutorial for this nail design!
8. Such a cute reindeer!
9. Penguin nails for Christmas. Why not? 🙂
11. Another cute snowman and some white dots, a.k.a. snowflakes.
12. Super easy and super cute nails with a bow.
The question is do you want to paint your nails this Christmas? Personally I’m bad at waiting for my nails to dry, but I enjoy painting them if the design is easy. After searching for various nail art designs I want to paint my nails for Christmas. Also, I found these pictures in Pinterest and in We Heart It.
I think you have all noticed that to make almost every nail design you need a dotting tool. If you don’t have a dotting tool just like me, don’t worry! Note that you can use a pen, bobby pins or just a simple pin.
I hope after this post you have some inspiration about how you want to paint your nails this Christmas. See you soon,
Hello girls! I’m a huge movie lover. I can watch them everyday and I don’t get bored, that’s crazy! Last Saturday I went to the movie theater and watched Mockingjay: Part 1. It was so good! Today I’m going to tell you a little bit about it (with some spoilers). Personally I LOVED it. During the movie, a.k.a emotional anxiety roller coaster, I was so into it, I sometimes even forgot to eat pop corns!
I’m going to tell you some of my favorite moments in this movie. One of them is when Katniss goes to District 8 to the hospital. President Snow somehow sees her – nothing good. He tells to bombard the hospital, full of innocent people. I can’t put into words how much I hate him, like ugh! After that, Katniss says such a great speech. I’m not going to tell you, but it is so emotional, I get chills all over my body no matter how many times I listen to it!
When I read a book, I really liked a song “The Hanging Tree” and I was excited about how the song will sound like in the movie. What do you think? It sounds so perfect! You can listen to it right here. In the movie, Katniss starts to sing this song and after a couple of minutes all the rebels join. It is such an amazing part of Mockingjay. “The Hanging Tree” got stuck in my head for about a week. I was singing it everywhere. I’m actually singing it right now, while writing this post. 🙂
I just have to mention Peeta. Just OMG. I don’t know what else to say. All scenes with Katniss and Peeta are awesome. Especially when Peeta actually sees her on the screen singing “The Hanging Tree” and tells her something. I’m not going to say what, watch the movie first!
Actually the whole movie is a bomb. If you didn’t watch it already, go to cinema and watch watch watch! I dare you! 🙂 Now I can’t wait for Mockingjay: Part 2. How am I going to wait a year to see it? I have no idea. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this short post.
